Craig Mazur - Sports Massage

I completed my Level 5 Sports & Remedial Massage Diploma at the Oxford School of Sports Massage in 2006. After a few years of working with my private clients and amateur sports teams in 2009 I started working part time for the First Team at Wolverhampton Wanders F.C.

In 2008 I started my Anatomy Trains Structural Integration Training. I studied for this 600 hour course in Maine, US, studying under Tom Myers, one of the most highly thought of Soft Tissue Therapists in this industry. The knowledge and skill set this gave me meant I felt more accomplish in every aspect of my work.

In 2010 I moved to Liverpool to join Everton F.C. First Team (managed by David Moyes) where I would travel with the team to all first teams fixtures and training camps. After 5 years at Everton in 2015 I joined West Ham United F.C….

I was fortunate enough to be at Upton Park for West Ham’s last season there. I have so many amazing memories there, but the last ever game at Upton Park was truly special, possibly the best game I’ve been a part of (until Prague that is)!

I’ve been lucky enough to have worked with so many great people and players at West Ham over my ten years here, in particular working with Nobes who I treated before all our matches. Our adventures in Europe have been some of the highlights of my career; Lyon and Frankfurt being the most memorable, until Prague when we became Europa Conference League Champions!

Over my time at West Ham I have always continued to learn, most significantly travelling to Phoenix, US on three occasions to learn Fascial Stretch Therapy. This has had profound effects on the way I work and the improvements in mobility can be amazing…
